Beekeep.org is a offshoot of www.HoneyRunApiaries.com.  It was started because I wanted to offer more and more beekeeping information on my website and it was getting hard to manage and I didn't want it to get too mixed up with the commercial side of the operation.  I didn't want to see people avoid referencing the information for fear of sending business to a compeditor (not a big deal in my opinion and I do it all the time myself when someone else can serve the client better, but I know there are some in the industry that feel threatened by such things).  Plus, many of the things I wanted to offer simply couldn't be offered with the website's current structure.  So Beekeep.org was born (it also happens to be my license plate)

How, exactly I'm going to fit this all into one website, I'm not sure at this point.  For now it will be run in extra space on my current server, but as it grows it will likely need to be moved to it's own server.
